International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship — One-Year Study Program
Non-Chinese citizens aged 16 to 35 on 1 September 2025 (up to 45 for in-service Chinese language teachers), recommended by a Recommending Institution such as a Confucius Institute, an HSK test centre or a Chinese embassy.

Language score
HSK score required. International Chinese language education: at least 270 on HSK Level 3, plus an HSKK score. Chinese language and literature, Chinese history or Chinese philosophy: at least 180 on HSK Level 4 and 60 on HSKK Intermediate. Chinese language study: at least 210 on HSK Level 3.
What it covers
Tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and a monthly living allowance of RMB 2,500.

Online, on the scholarship section of the CLEC website; the CLEC programme page gives pmplatform.chinese.cn as the application platform. A reference letter from the head of the Recommending Institution is required.
