International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship — Four-Week Study Program
Non-Chinese citizens aged 16 to 35 on 1 September 2025 (up to 45 for in-service Chinese language teachers), recommended by a Recommending Institution such as a Confucius Institute, an HSK test centre or a Chinese embassy.

HSK score required. An HSK test score is required; the guidelines set no minimum level.
What it covers
Tuition, accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance. Four-week students do not receive the living allowance.

Online, on the scholarship section of the CLEC website; the CLEC programme page gives pmplatform.chinese.cn as the application platform. A reference letter from the head of the Recommending Institution is required.
Timing
2025 guidelines: programme starts July 2025 (applications due 15 April) or December 2025 (applications due 15 September). Funded for up to four weeks.
