Chinese language teachers scholarship
International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship — Master's Degree
Non-Chinese citizens aged 16 to 35 on 1 September 2025 (up to 45 for in-service Chinese language teachers), recommended by a Recommending Institution such as a Confucius Institute, an HSK test centre or a Chinese embassy. Applicants need a bachelor's degree.

HSK score required. At least 210 on HSK Level 5 and 60 on HSKK Intermediate.
What it covers
Tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and a monthly living allowance of RMB 3,000.

Online, on the scholarship section of the CLEC website; the CLEC programme page gives pmplatform.chinese.cn as the application platform. A reference letter from the head of the Recommending Institution is required.
